I began teaching at Greensboro Elementary in August 1996 and have been here ever since.  For the first fifteen years of my career I was the Art teacher.  In 2011 I began teaching Pre-K, and what a wonderfully fun challenge it has been!  I absolutley adore children's literature and bringing it to life while getting my students ready to read. 

I was born and raised right here in Gadsden County.  I went away for college but eventually moved back home and landed at Greensboro Elementary shortly thereafter.  I have two children, one in college and the other in 5th grade.  When I'm not at school, I can usually be found at some sort of ball practice or the boxing gym...oh, the life of a sports mom!
